Wavell School Case Study

Following on from the success of the i-desk Solution in the schools 'Inclusion Room' (an ICT suite designed for cross-curricular teaching) the Wavell School (rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in 2009) chose i-desk again, this time for their Design and Technology Block. With the solution now in use by students, the Headteacher offered her comments:

i-desk Case Study

i-desk has once again come to the rescue. I cannot thank them enough for the professional manner, speed and efficiency with which they have provided us with a solution for a past lack of space within Design and Technology. We were keen to introduce a “Wow Factor” into this subject area and also to maintain high Health and Safety standards. Steve and his Team have provided both. We now have plenty of space for staff to monitor and support their students on a 1 to 1 level in the classrooms, hence enhancing personalisation opportunities. As you enter the Atrium you are welcomed by a bright, professional conference area with plasma screens and i-rise PCWavell_quotes. The students and staff feel uplifted and totally valued with their new learning environment.

The i-desk package was by far the Best Value compared to all other companies. They were able to complete the work exactly when we wanted and with an outstanding amount of flexibility. Steve and his team never forget that there are children at the heart of their work in schools. They definitely give it that personal touch that some other larger companies neglect. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
